A. Select a topic related to business for essay (such as team work, recruitment process, starting up a new business, staff development etc.).

B. Write an outline of the essay on the sleeted topic using the table given on next page.

C. Write a complete essay from the outline you have prepared in part B. Make sure to:

a. begin the introduction with a few general statements to attract your reader's attention
b. divide your topic into sub-topics (2 – 3)
c. describe each sub-topic in a separate paragraph
d. write a thesis statement that indicates subtopics
e. use transitions between paragraphs
f. summarize your main ideas or paraphrase your thesis in conclusion
