As for Hitler's ideologies and Nazism in general, Diaz admitted that the American public has been lied to all these years.

“I believe we’ve been taught lies about Hitler our whole life. I don’t want to talk about what 'allegedly' happened over there,” he said, referring to the Nazi occupation of Europe and the Holocaust. “We’ve been told lies about Hitler, we’ve been told lies about National Socialism, we’ve been told lies about everything."

He goes on. “I used to believe that Hitler was this evil guy who wanted to rule the world, but… we were wrong.”
